H&H’s roots are firmly set in quality people, processes, and products. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and drive continuous improvement every day.
STEP 1: MOLD DESIGN
Quality starts in the mold design process. Our Design and Engineering team works closely with customers to ensure that their part is designed for manufacturing and repeatable during each production run.
STEP 2: MOLD CREATION
Our Mold Making team works closely with the Design team to take drawings and turn them into the highest quality molds made in the Pacific Northwest. Our team has over 120 years of machining experience with the understanding that our customer’s are trusting us with getting it right the first time.
STEP 3: TESTING & PRE-PRODUCTION QUALIFICATIONS
Once the mold has been made, our Quality & Operations team conduct first article testing and any additional pre-production qualifications. Pre-production qualifications include Cpk, PFMEA, Process Flow and other well established manufacturing qualification processes.
STEP 4: REGULAR PMs, CLEANING & INSPECTION
Once the mold has been qualified, the Operations team conducts regular PMs on all equipment and molds. After each production run, a dedicated team member does a full cleaning and inspection to ensure it remains in the best shape for future runs. The Mold Making team will periodically perform mold tune-ups, a further enhancement to our standard PM program.
STEP 5: QUALIFICATION & ON-GOING PART QUALITY INSPECTION
Finally, our dedicated Quality team is involved in all steps surrounding qualification and on-going part quality inspection. We have a wide array of tools at our disposal to support initial part qualification, to on-going quality checks to ensure all parts are within specification.
