The part-time Bookkeeper & Operations Support role will be responsible for bookkeeping at H&H and supporting some of the ongoing operational support functions. Bookkeeping will be the primary function, with operations support being secondary.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • AR – Prepare and send out invoices, follow up on past due invoices, and maintain customer files
  • AP – Enter bills and maintain vendor files
  • Daily transaction entries
  • Reconcile bank(s) & credit card(s)
  • Prepare and file excise returns
  • Prepare and file 1099s
  • Prepare and file Personal Property Listing
  • Process payroll, prepare and file payroll reports
  • Accrual basis journal entry adjustments
  • Ability to back-up certain planning & CSR roles o Including scheduling jobs & responding to customer inquiries

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Customer service orientation
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Five years of bookkeeping experience required
  • Experience in operations support functions (e.g. planning) is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $23.14 – $26.58 per hour
